Elite Dangerous from Frontier Developments is going to arrive for PlayStation 4 sometime in quarter two of 2017 alongside support for PlayStation 4 Pro, the company has revealed.
The release will include every game expansion to date, the full Elite Dangerous: Horizons season pass and custom PlayStation 4 features that include Touch Navigation, Extra Control, and Fast Headlook. Those with a PlayStation 4 Pro will benefit from enhanced performance throughout Elite Dangerous.
Elite Dangerous is all about an open-world adventure involving space, 400 billion star systems of the real Milky Way re-created at their full galactic proportions, an evolving player-driven narrative and fully connected multiplayer experience.
You as the player will have to fight, trade, explore and survive the journey charted out by Elite Dangerous. While initially you will only have a small starship and a handful of credits, with time you will be able to gain skills, knowledge, wealth and power to stand among the ranks of the legendary Elite.
Developers have ensured that to provide the best possible gameplay and for this Elite Dangerous uses real scientific principles to re-create the sights and spectacle of our own Milky Way galaxy at its true proportions, all powered by the most sophisticated simulation in videogames.
Another awesome aspect of the game is its massively multiplayer gameplay. You will be able to cooperate and compete with players from around the world in the Milky Way galaxy of the fourth millennium.
