BMW is yet to official unveil its latest BMW 5-Series model, but we have got a glimpse of what it looks like through a set of leaked images that made their way onto the internet.
BMW continues to excel in the design area with soft corners giving the new 5-Series a stunning unique look. One thing that stands out is that the front of the car is much more aggressive than the F10 5 Series. The head lamps have been slimmed down a little and they perfectly align and connect with the outer edge of the kidney grille.
The automaker has beefed up the iconic kidney grille while also increasing the chrome content of the grille to make it look more dynamic. Then there are the air-intakes as well as daytime running lights giving the 5-Series a much more attractive look.
Going to the rear, BMW has more or less kept the tail lamps and overall design similar to that of the 7 Series. The boot sits more upright and features a subtle lip, while the taillights are long and slim. The model that has been leaked is the 540i which sees dual trapezoidal exhaust tips and this works well with the overall design.
The cabin is a familiar one as most of the design cues on the inside have been inherited from the 7 Series. It’s the same center console with chrome elements with the LCD screen and technology which trickles down from its elder sibling. The company is yet to reveal the car officially and hence details about the engine will be revealed shortly.
