Ola, the India-born cab booking and transportation app, has landed support for iOS 10 and with that it will allow iPhone and iPad users to ask Siri to book a cab for them without having to launch the app.
All that users will have to say is: “Hey Siri, get me an Olacab” and Siri will do the rest. According to OTA co-founder and CTO Ankit Bhati the updated Ola app leverages the power of iOS 10 and this will not only provide enhanced mobility to its users, but also ensure that they have an experience that is seamless and flawless.
Beyond integration with Siri, the updated Ola app also brings with it integration with Apple Maps thereby making cab booking much more convenient and accessible. Thanks to this integration, Ola users will be able to gain access to Ola directly from within Apple Maps while they are searching for their destination and this provides a seamless experience.
Besides, Ola has launched an independent app on Apple Watch to ensure a consistent experience across all Apple devices.
